This medicinal plant belongs to Fabaceae family and is native to southwest and west Asia to southern Europe. it has a height of 1 to 2 meters and usually in late winter and spring gives balloon-like flowers in the pink and white color.
This plant has a white and crisp resin with a bitter and slightly sweet taste and contains compounds such as antioxidant, flavonoids, anthocyanins, steroids, tannins, phenic acid, saponin, iron, fiber, magnesium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, vitamin, Vitamin C, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine and protein.
